Paysera Expands ATM Network to Kaunas and Klaipėda
The first Kaunas ATM has been installed at the Urmas shopping district, while Klaipėda’s is located in the BIG shopping centre. These sites were chosen to ensure easy access in Lithuania’s largest cities. Earlier this year, Paysera launched its first three ATMs in Vilnius.
“Our goal is to bring together smart digital solutions and people’s everyday financial habits. After Vilnius, we’re moving into Kaunas and Klaipėda – two cities where we continue to see strong demand for cash services,” said Marijus Plančiūnas, CEO of Paysera. “We’ll keep a close eye on client needs and consider further expansion where appropriate.”
The ATMs are fully cardless, requiring only the Paysera app and an internet connection. To withdraw money, users select the 'Withdraw' option in the app, which generates a barcode to be scanned by the ATM. For deposits, users present their personal QR code from the app. The process is quick, secure, and eliminates risks such as leaving a card behind or falling victim to card-skimming fraud.
In Vilnius, ATMs were initially installed near Paysera’s headquarters on Pilaitės Avenue, at the CUP shopping centre, and at Hyper Rimi in Šiaurės Miestelis. Since May, users have deposited over €5 million and withdrawn €7.5 million through the machines.
In addition to its ATM network, Paysera reminds clients that cash withdrawals are also available at its Client Service Centre in Vilnius, Perlas terminals (for Visa cardholders), Lietuvos Spauda and Narvesen kiosks, and other banks’ ATMs (with a Visa card).
Deposits can also be made at the Vilnius Client Service Centre, Perlas terminals, and at Maxima checkout counters.
